Alviere is excited to announce that Christine Bottagaro has joined its senior leadership team as Chief Marketing Officer.
With deep, hands-on experience in tech, Christine brings a wealth of B2B marketing expertise to Alviere, which includes go-to-market strategy and execution, sales enablement and management, and content creation and delivery. Prior to joining Alviere, Christine held Chief Marketing Officer positions at Rogue Wave Software and Upland Kapost. Most recently, she was a Co-founder at Resurface Labs.
In this installment of Alviere’s “5 Q’s With” blog series, we catch up with Christine to learn more about her role, her thoughts about the industry, and her predictions on what the future holds for brands that choose embedded finance technology.
To start, we have to ask: why Alviere?
Christine: What excites me the most is the mission and what's possible with Alviere. It's really about meeting people where they want to be — from those who want a different banking experience to those who might be underserved by traditional credit and bank options. We're here to offer a different path to those solutions and offer deeper relationships with the brands that consumers love.
What will be your main focus at Alviere?
Christine: As Chief Marketing Officer, I’ll run the marketing efforts to deliver on Alviere’s goals. This means educating the market on embedded finance, understanding and sharing use cases for our buyers, and creating a great team to deliver on our revenue and growth objectives.
What thrills you most about the embedded finance/fintech space?
Christine: The democratization of access to those who are underserved or unbanked is very exciting. As is being able to provide an answer to the question: Can we find new ways for more people to have financial products that serve them while benefiting the brands that offer a great experience to their customers?
What are your predictions for the embedded finance industry over the next five years?
Christine: Organizations that can offer a portfolio of banking solutions will deepen their customer engagement, retain customers longer, and increase their lifetime value. Early movers will be rewarded handsomely.
What are you currently reading?
Christine: I'm usually reading both a nonfiction book and a fiction book at any given time. At the moment, I'm reading “Braiding Sweetgrass” by Robin Wall Kimmerer, a Native American botanist. The book is very elegant and eye-opening. For fiction, I’m reading “The Overstory” by Richard Powers. I'm a sucker for great writing and well-crafted characters.
